Thoughts by the window✍️

Life is crazy, everything is uncertain

Something that stands strong today can shatter in the next moment,

Duration of anything lasting can vary from a lifetime to not even a second maybe,
That is how thoughts of today began;
As a pot I very fondly bought 2 years ago,
Broke today as it couldn't handle the shakes due to the bombay monsoon winds through the window,
But even after all of us know things shatter and things end, we continue to fall into these traps again and again
Trap of continuing to get new fragile but pleasant things in life,
These are traps laid down by life itself

I read something recently a book called the midnight library,
Here's a quick summary:
In it the main protagonist is actually done with her life and in depression,
And she decides to take her own life
And the whole book is about her being stuck in this library between life and death where she tries to undo each of her many regrets throughout life
And live a perfect life finally without any of her regrets,
And if you liked this idea and are an overthinker and would like to know how this ends you could try this book for yourself( I won't give any spoilers)

It is due to this book though that I asked myself a question,
Is this a part of my book of regrets
I very calmly asked myself (the calm part was weird)
Do I regret anything?
Do I keep a book of regrets myself?
And the ans was a definite no
I don't regret any of it, not the beginning, not the good times, not when I cried (though im ashamed), not the fights, not even today.
I think it's alright to have a lot fights and breakouts and collapses
Ultimately that's what tells you;
what is yours truly will come around and stick and never fall
What's truly important is to also remember the good parts, the laughs, the mischieves,  the punishments, the games
And that even though I liked this book a lot
The letters at the back will forever be my favorite, and the reason why I'll cherish this book.
Always.
